Being a high-achieving woman in today’s world means juggling a lot—and every new quarter is a powerful opportunity to realign, reflect, and reset. Here are our favorite productivity tips and tools that help us stay on track, grounded, and thriving in both our careers and personal lives...

Cherice: In corporate life, quarterly business reviews are standard practice. We assess, adjust, and plan ahead. I started applying the same method to my personal and professional goals, and it changed everything. A fresh quarter isn’t just a new calendar page—it’s a built-in moment to pause and ask: What’s working? What’s weighing me down? Then I make the necessary shifts to move forward with clarity and intention.

Lehna: Life moves fast—between work trips, meetings, and to-do lists, it’s easy to get thrown off balance. I’ve learned that building a few key habits and using the right tools gives me the mental space to focus on what really matters. It’s not about perfection; it’s about progress with purpose.

What We Use to Help Goal Set & Stay Productive

Lehna: I really enjoy being intentional about what each new season brings. For me, the best way to set goals is with a good pen in hand—there’s something about it that just feels right. And when it comes to color, purple’s my go-to. It helps me feel connected to the process of creating a plan, giving me that little boost to take charge of both my work and personal life.

  1. Planners that keep us focused

Cherice: It only took me 41 years, but I finally found a planner that fits my life (cue the confetti). I use the Roterunner Purpose Planner because it lets me set goals for every role I juggle—Mom, career woman, entrepreneur, and, well… just me. I map out goals by role, then break them down into monthly and weekly action steps. It’s been a game-changer for keeping my goals aligned and my sanity intact.

Lehna: My sister gifted me this planner over the holidays, and I’m absolutely loving it. It helps me focus by asking me to prioritize three things for the week and jot down what I want to accomplish each day. The limited space on each day keeps me on track, and if something extra comes up, there are built-in post-it notes to jot it down. It’s the perfect size to fit in my bag, and just what I need to stay organized!

  1. Calendars for work-life balance

Cherice: If you’re living that two-phone life (hi, corporate queen), finding a calendar app that plays nice with both work and personal schedules is clutch. After a lot of trial and error, Fantastical has been my go-to—it syncs both calendars and gives me a bird’s-eye view of my entire day. No more surprise meetings sneaking up on me while I’m trying to schedule a dentist appointment or coffee date.

Lehna: I’ve started using the widgets on my iPhone to keep my Outlook and Google calendars side by side, and it’s made a huge difference. It’s perfect for staying on top of what’s coming up—whether that’s squeezing in a workout or figuring out when to prep lunch for the next day. It helps me stay a few steps ahead and keep things in check.

  2. To-Do Lists (that work for you)

Cherice: I swear by having a to-do list right next to me while I work. Why? Because my brain loves to toss in random requests and reminders right in the middle of focused work. Jotting them down keeps me from veering off course while still capturing what needs to get done later. My go-to? The Ramona & Ruth Daily Overview for handwritten clarity—and when I’m screen-sharing with my manager or team, I switch to Microsoft To-Do for a cleaner, digital look (because not every task needs to be on display).

Lehna: Microsoft To-Do is a lifesaver for keeping track of my daily tasks and reminding me of upcoming deadlines. Between back-to-back calls, trying to get in a quick workout on my walkpad, and searching for my phone, those quick pings help me stay on track so I never forget what needs to get done before I log off.

  3. Notes app - the underrated MVP

Cherice: Every quarter, I open a new note in the iPhone Notes App with my top 3 goals and share it with my accountability partner. It keeps me motivated and focused—no matter how busy things get.

Lehna: From groceries to midweek chores, I use Notes to capture everything in one place. It’s the easiest way to stay organized when your schedule is nonstop.

  4. Scheduling workouts like meetings

Cherice: Between the meetings, emails, and mom-ing, it’s easy to let workouts slide into the “maybe later” category. But here’s the shift: I schedule my workouts in advance using the Peloton app, then sync them to my calendar. That way, they’re blocked off like any other meeting—and just as non-negotiable. Because taking care of your body isn’t a luxury. It’s a priority.

Lehna: I aim to work out 3-5 times a week, whether it’s a BODYPUMP class or a quick run. Finding the time can be tricky when life gets busy, but those workouts are what help me keep my work-life balance in check, especially when things start to feel overwhelming.

Curated Extras

Cherice: As if life isn’t full enough, throw in co-parenting with someone on Android and suddenly calendars don’t sync, invites go missing… chaos. Enter Cozi—an app that lets us manage a shared calendar strictly for kid-related stuff: school events, practices, custody schedules, you name it. It keeps everyone (and everything) on the same page—no matter what phone you’re loyal to.

Lehna: My partner and I use this whiteboard to manage our household to-dos. It keeps everything front and center so nothing slips through the cracks.

A quarterly reset is your chance to check in with yourself, fine-tune your systems, and reclaim your time. Whether you're balancing corporate goals or personal dreams, the right tools can make all the difference.
